Furizas meeting with the Akki had been three weeks ago and now the troupes prepared for the attack. The possessed Icejin ordered his men to take course to Vegitasei and it would not take them long. The soldiers were not only ordered to train but the Akki also gave them more power than they ever did dream to posses and in return it gained control of them. It was a 'game' the Akki loved to play every time someone asked for help. Most of the time it would not even help them but just take control of them until the day they died. That was also the reason why it was feared and hardly ever men came to seek power from it. The reason the Akki helped this time was that it wanted it's revenge on the Saiyajin as well. The Akki did not knew how strong his enemies had gotten but it was sure they were not strong enough to defeat it again since it had a lot of soldiers this time too. Furizas troupes took flight to Vegitasei in hopes of success. There was no doubt in his mind that he could win but the Akki knew very well that it would be a long battle. It had fought these people before and it knew their determination when it came to saving their loved ones.

:: Vegitasei ::

"King Vegeta. We have an unidentified ship on the radar." a soldier notified his superior. He was nervous because normally something like that would not happen. The tension in the room was very noticeable while the soldier waited for further instructions. Never before had the planet been attacked. The Saiyajin were a race of warriors but they did not randomly attack and therefore had barely any enemies throughout the universe.

After a moment the king had made up his mind. "Prepare the troupes. We will have to fight for our people and our planet. Evacuate as many as you can to Chikyu." King Vegeta answered without doubt. He had known the attack would come sooner or later and preparations had been made. The Queen along with as many other people as possible would be alarmed and send to Chikyu as soon as possible and hopefully before the enemies ship would arrive. Most of the evacuated people would be women with their children since the male population would be needed in the army. Vegeta was not sure if they would be able to succeed but he would do his best. "Go to Queen Kouhi. She will give you further instructions on what to do." he commanded another one of his soldiers before leaven the throne room. He had to get ready for the battle as well as talk to the soldiers before the enemy would arrive. There was no time to loose and he wanted to see his queen one last time even if there would be no time for talking.

The queen was not surprised when the soldier arrived and informed her of what had happened. She alerted everyone and they gathered to board the large ship that would take them to safety. There were not many people ready to leave because most wanted to help defend their home. The ships could have taken more than ten-thousand people to Chikyu but in the end not more than five-hundred did take the opportunity. They departed an hour before Furizas ship would reach Vegitasei. The queen did look back one last time to find the eyes of the king but she had a feeling she would never see them again. The ships all had cloak-devices so that the arriving enemy would not see them on their radar. The only problem was that they had depart soon enough to be out of sight before the enemy would arrive. Their only hope was that he would be defeated and they could return. If Vegitasei would fall they were to live on Chikyu for the rest of their lives and most were not to keen to do that.

::Furizas Ship::

"How long till we arrive?" Furiza questioned one of the soldiers. He could not wait till he would get his revenge. He was even more obsessed now that he shared his body with the Akki since it was no longer only him who wanted to finally get rid of the Saiyajin. The Akki was driving him mad with its sole desire to kill of the ones that banish it so long ago. Furiza was becoming impatient because they took so long to answer.

"Not more than an hour, sir." Zabon answered. He was impressed by the power the Akki did posses. He had thought the legends would not be true and that his superior was only searching for a ghost that did in fact not exist. Zabon had been very surprised when the Akki provided him with the power he had now. He was now stronger than ever before and the Akki even gave him the opportunity to change his form to become even more powerful. The soldier hoped he would not have to do that because he did look extraordinary hideous with his transformed physique.

Furiza seemed satisfied with the answer. "Very well. Alert me as soon as we get there." he commanded before leaving for his private quarters for a last talk with the Akki before they would arrive on the planet. Both Furiza and the Akki fought for absolute control over the body and Furiza wanted to make sure he was the one to defeat the proud Saiyajin. He did not want the Akki to take him over completely.

Nearly an hour later they had arrived and were greeted with the whole Saiyajin army and many volunteers that decided to help as much as they could. The ship had barely landed when the battle did start. Vegitaseis soldiers fought off enemies everywhere but they kept coming and the longer the battle did prolong the more people had found their death. Their blood sucked into the ground until the sandy surface of the planet was tinted red. No matter where one would look they would see only red since the moon now took the place of the sun and shone its red light upon the planet underneath. It was truly a worthy picture of the fight for the planet of the most noble warrior race the universe had ever heard of. The battle continued for hours until Furizas men seemed to be gone. The last standing were Furiza himself and his five top men. There was only one problem, there were not many Saiyajin warriors standing any more either. The battle had taken its victims. The last chance for the planet was now their king who finally could fight his way to the leader of their enemies. Now he would be able to face Furiza and his people were sure he would remain the victor in the ultimate fight.

The pair to fight the last battle was standing in the middle of the battlefields surrounded by the corpses of the men that had fought for them. The picture was a truly heroic one when the king set out to defeat the one responsible for the death of the majority of the people he swore to protect with his life. Furiza did not stand a chance even with the power of the Akki he would be paying the price for the attack. The determination in the eyes of the king were enough to tell him that there would be no other escape than death. The fight lasted nearly an hour. Both parties had to take many hits but in the end the Saiyajin king came out as victor. Just before Furiza was killed the Akki escaped his body unseen by any of the bystanders. The final hit on the Icejin took its toll not only on the king but also on the planet. After the combat there was not much left of the planet that had once been one of the most beautiful in the universe. Vegitasei was nearly destroyed no matter how hard everyone had fought to protect it. The Saiyajin noticed the planet would blow up not matter what they did but they had no means to escape left. Their ships as well as Furizas were destroyed in the battle and the warriors saw their death coming even after they came out victorious. The last word heard by the king before the explosion was a soft sorry meant for all the lives that were destroyed and all the families that lost their relatives!

Even if in the end the enemy was defeated it killed nearly the whole Saiyajin population and destroyed planet Vegitasei. It had been a price far too high to pay. Only the ones that escaped before the battle survived and even they were not happy because of the loss they had to endure. They arrived safely on Chikyu but their spirit was defeated. They had seen the planets explosion from afar and their hearts broke along with the planet. Their home was not there any longer and they had to make a new one on a planet only a few of them had ever been to. Everyone had lost family in the battle and it would be hard do live on. Queen Kouhi still had hopes of finding the Prince and Princes but she did not know how long it would take or if she would succeed in doing so. She had doubts that she would ever find them because of the security measures they had taken before they had send them away. The royals had never asked where their children would be brought because they feared someone would find out. Even if they themselves would have never told the possibility of someone overhearing the conversation was to frightening. They had send out their most trusted guards to find a safe place for them and hide them at all costs. Still Kouhi did hope to find their twins like every mother would have. The only thing that kept her alive was the thought that one day she would see the only offspring she had. She would not stop searching till the day of her death.
